The Bursar's Office accepts the following methods of payment. We do not accept wire transfers or e-mail payments.
Check Payments
The University of Arizona accepts personal checks, cashiers checks, traveler's checks, and money orders. All check payments must be issued in U.S. dollars, and drawn on, or payable through, a U.S. bank.
By Internet:
- Log on to UAccess
- Click on Make a Payment
- Choose Pay by Check
CheckPay accepts personal checking or savings accounts only
- Payment is available on UAccess 7 days a week (except during scheduled downtime: 11pm-2am daily).
By Mail:
- Make your check payable to: The University of Arizona. Write your 8-digit student identification number on the front of the check, and mail it to the Student Payment Address or Overnight Address.
- IMPORTANT: Be sure to use the correct address for mailing payments. Delays in posting your payment may result!
Drop Boxes:
- Payment drop boxes are located in the main lobby of the University Services Building and the south entrance of the Administration Building. Simply write your 8-digit student identification number on the front of the check, and drop it in the box.
- IMPORTANT: Drop boxes close at 4:00pm, including payment due dates. Payments made in drop boxes after 4:00pm will be processed the following business day.
Credit/Debit Card Payments
The University of Arizona accepts American Express, MasterCard, and Visa credit or debit card payments.
By Internet:
- Log on to UAccess
- Click on Make a Payment
- Choose Pay by Credit Card
- Payment is available on UAccess 7 days a week (except during scheduled downtime: 11pm-2am daily).
Do not make a credit/debit card payment for any balance you anticipate will be paid with financial aid, scholarships, waivers, stipends, or other awards. If you do, any resulting credit balance after financial aid is posted will be refunded to the credit/debit card, not by check or ACH, per our credit card merchant agreement.
Cash Payments
Cash payments are only accepted in-person. You may pay in cash (U.S. Dollars only) during office hours at the following location:

Financial Aid
If you are receiving financial aid for this semester:
- Deduct any pending financial aid from your current account balance. The remaining balance, if any, must be paid by the payment due date to avoid late charges.
- Aid will be posted to your student account as it is received, no sooner than 10 days prior to the start of the semester, provided you have met all financial aid disbursement requirements.
- If there is adequate financial aid to cover your tuition charges, a late payment charge is not assessed. Check UAccess to see if tuition has been deferred.
