The Bursar's Office accepts the following methods of payment. We do not accept wire transfers or e-mail payments.
The University of Arizona accepts personal checks, cashiers checks, traveler's checks, and money orders. All check payments must be issued in U.S. dollars, and drawn on, or payable through, a U.S. bank. A dishonored check is a check payment returned by the bank to The University of Arizona, unpaid, for any reason. Dishonored checks will be assessed a $25.00 service charge. University services will be withheld, including, but not limited to, registration, grades, transcripts, and diplomas.
The University of Arizona accepts American Express, MasterCard, and Visa credit or debit card payments through UAccess. Effective May 5, 2014, credit and debit cards will be processed by a third-party vendor, Nelnet. When a credit or debit card payment is made, Nelnet will charge a 2.5% service fee, in addition to the University of Arizona payment amount.
Do not make a credit/debit card payment for any balance you anticipate will be paid with financial aid, scholarships, waivers, stipends, or other awards.
