Departments in need of small amounts of currency and coin (less than $300) can call a Bursar Representative at 520-621-1783 to place an exchange order. Allow at least one hour for preparation of your order before pickup in the Bursar's Office, University Services Building, Room 106. Pickup should be prior to 3:00 pm.
If a department needs to exchange funds over $300.00 in cash/coin, the department must contact the University Police Department to reserve an escort for the department representative to or from the Bursar's Office. At least 24 hour notice must be provided and the pickup must be scheduled to occur prior to 3:00 pm. Call a Bursar Representative at 520-621-1783 at least one hour before to allow time to prepare your order for pickup.
If your department has a long-term change fund, and has an ongoing need for large amounts of currency (more than $300) or coin, you will need to contact the Cashiering Services Coordinator. Arrangements will be made for you to order directly from our financial institution.
Detailed information on ordering currency can be found in Policy 8.10.
