Establishing Direct Deposit

A department is considered a Direct Deposit Department once it has been assigned a unique outlet/location number. It makes deposits daily or every other day which:

  • Are picked up by a UAPD Police Aide or contracted armored carrier services
  • Drop their secured deposit bag in the night deposit vault at the Bursar's Office
  • Bring their secured deposit bag in to the Bursar Office
  • Go directly to our partnering bank branch

A department may establish themselves as a Direct Deposit Department by contacting the Cashiering Services Coordinator to obtain a Department Deposit Outlet/Location form. Once completed, the Bursar's Office will order deposit slips and endorsement stamps, allowing the department to have deposits directly posted to their designated revenue account through the assigned outlet/location number.
